Bringing
Digital Photography from Inverclyde (and Scotland)
Of
course, all pictures on the Internet are digital! But what if you
want something more like traditional photographic prints - using modern
digital technology?
We
can make the highest quality prints
from digital cameras, and from 35mm negatives or slides, or from your
own prints. We specialize in making giclee fine art prints of Scotland
- and we have hundreds of high-quality photographs of Scotland's lochs,
islands, mountains, and glens.
If
you want to take a shortcut, then just click here
to see some of our own favourite pictures.........
We
have already restored hundreds of historical
pictures of Gourock, Greenock, and Port Glasgow - and many from
other areas of Scotland. Many of these pictures have been taken
from whatever source we can find - they are not always of the finest
technical quality. But they have an impact and an interest factor
which overcomes their limitations!
Our
new art gallery houses a selection of modern
pictures and also a growing collection of the finest prints from
original works of local artists and photographers
- including George Wyllie, Frank
Docherty, Norman
Edgar, Paul Murray, Jean Bell, Don McNeil, Craig
McMaster, and Richard Norman.
The
superiority of our prints attracts the very best artists and photographers
from the West of Scotland. We can't show print quality on a
website - but when you see the images themselves you'll get an idea
of what the prints must look like.
The
beautiful scenery and sunsets make Gourock a wonderful place to live
and work. If you ever get a chance to visit our gallery in Gourock
you will not be disappointed. You will see the best of modern
giclee printing, and you will also see the best view in the world.
Besides that - you will find free car parking, and the biggest selection
of inexpensive food and drink that you can imagine.
Kempock
Digital is also the home of the KEMPOCK
COLLECTION of postcards. Currently we have more than 750 postcards
of Gourock, Greenock, and Port Glasgow.
Please
remember that the copyright belongs to the artists, and while we have
no problem with you looking at, and even printing or reusing these
pictures - we need a credit to the artist, and a link to our site.
